Every day, every leader is faced with decisions. These important decisions often define the effectiveness of the leader. Here's my question for today: How do you make decisions? Is it by profit? Or is it by principle?
If you make decisions based on profit, you may likely be forced to make decisions based on momentary and immediate gratification. It may force you to forgo principles that you know are right for short-term gain.
However, if you make decisions based on time-honored, immutable principles, rights and wrongs that are always true, you may not receive the immediate gratification you desire, but the long-term outcome will most often, most likely be successful and secure.
Make decisions based on principle, not profit. It's a leadership truth that will forever be true.
