The famous theologian Martin Luther once said about marriage these very wise words: "Let the wife make the husband glad to come home. Let the husband make her sorry to see him leave." More marriages would be happier if the wife spent time trying to make herself and the home so inviting that the husband can't wait to come home to be with her and spend time with her. Similarly, more marriages would be stronger if the husband would choose his wife over the newspaper, sports and social media. Then she would be sorry to see him leave when he must.
What would happen in all marriages if we made the desire of our hearts the other person in the relationship? More husbands would want to come home. More wives wouldn't want their husbands to leave.
And marriages would be much stronger, wouldn't they?
