How can you get enjoyment in your job today?  Perhaps it's a dull, hum-drum job for you. But it doesn't have to be that way. I love the way Martin Luther King, Jr. addressed this issue for all of us in every walk of life where we may be.  He said:

"If it falls your lot to be a street sweeper, sweep streets like Michelangelo painted pictures, sweep streets like Beethoven composed music…Sweep streets like Shakespeare wrote poetry.  Sweep streets so well that all the hosts of heaven and earth will have to pause and say:  Here lived a great street sweeper who swept his job well."

Do all you do today with a 100% effort.  Try pleasing God first with your efforts, then your boss and co-workers.  See if then your actions at home, school, church, in the community don't bring you a new energy and purpose.

And, suddenly, your job is no longer boring or hum-drum!
