Today's verses are John 15:7,8: "If you abide in me, and my words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.  By this my Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit and so prove to be my disciples." My child, today I want to teach you a powerful insight into prayer.  I want you to see great and powerful answers to your prayers.  I want you to see me move mountains in your life.  I want your faith to increase and believe that nothing is impossible with my Father in heaven.

However, please note my two conditions for answered prayer.  What are they?

First, you must abide in me.  You must have an intimate, personal, continual, living relationship with me.  My life must be in you.  Your life must be in me.  We must be intimately connected to one another.  There cannot be a breach in our walls.  Is our relationship secure on every front today?

Second, my words must abide in you.  You must know my word.  You must know the truth of what I've taught. You can't have a casual acquaintance with it.  My word needs richly to dwell in your heart.  It must be on your lips.  You must know how to pray it when facing difficult times.  If you want to know my will, know my word.  It was written by my friend, the Holy Spirit.  All of it is divinely inspired.  All of it is true.

Don't you see?  If you abide in me, and I in you, and my word also abides in you, you will only desire what I desire.  You will only want what I want.  Then you will pray according to my will, which pleases my heart.  Then you ask whatever you wish, knowing it's my will, and it's done for you!  If you're not certain if it's my will, you can leave it in my divine care and I will answer in perfect accord to my will.

By the way you abide in me, and I and my word abide in you, and the way you pray, seeking after my heart alone, my Father in heaven is glorified.  His heart is pleased.  People see him in a good way and are drawn to him.  You bear much fruit as a disciple.  My Father in heaven's kingdom is advanced.  You prove to be one of my disciples.

My child, abide in me.  Know my word.  Let it abide in you, deeply and richly.  Seek me and my kingdom fervently every day.  Pray your problems to me.  Ask whatever you wish, as you seek my will in your life.  Bear fruit for me.  Glorify my Father, not just in praise and worship, but by being faithful, daily, in your following me.

This proves your love for me.  It proves you are my disciple.  It's much more than your words.  It includes your entire life.  As you give me all, you can rest assured I will take care of everything in your life.  That  is my promise, if you abide in me.

You can trust me today.
