The Golden Rule exists in almost all the worlds' major religions.  It's there for a reason.  People through the ages have learned its value and necessity for life to be meaningful. Is the Golden Rule your rule for living?  It should be.  In case you don't know, it simply says that you should treat other people in the same way you want to be treated.

It is true that sometimes, when life's pressures squeeze upon you, or friends aren't caring for you the way you'd like, that you think obeying the Golden Rule is impossible.  But it shouldn't be.  It can be done.  We may have to pause for a moment, think about what we should do, then do it.  But it is possible to obey it.

Today, if you're wondering how to treat someone, go look in the mirror.  Ask the person you see in the reflection how he or she would like to be treated.  The answer you receive will tell you exactly what you should do.

Treat others as you'd like to be treated.  It's an eternal law for all!
